A 14-year-old boy was reportedly found stabbed on Monday, beside a church opposite Oval Tube station in south London.
it was gathered that Police were called to the church and the boy was taken to hospital as a “priority”.
According to an eyewitness, “Police were called on Monday, June 19 at around 4:05pm to a report of a male injured inside the grounds of church in Kennington Park Road. Officers attended and found a 14-year-old male suffering from a stab injury. The London Ambulance Service was called and he was taken to a south London hospital. We await an update on his condition.”
The eyewitness also added that “Officers remain on scene and there is a significant policing presence in the area. No arrests and enquiries are ongoing.”
However, a London ambulance service spokesperson stated that “We were called at 4.03pm today to reports of a stabbing on Kennington Park Road. We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene, arriving in less than five minutes. We took one patient as a priority to a major trauma centre.”
Meanwhile, the severities of his injuries are unknown at this stage.
