The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play their West African counterparts, the Hawks of Togo in an International friendly match in Paris next month, the Togolese Football Federation has revealed.
Nigeria, who will camp in France later this month are expected to play a series of friendly matches while in France, first of which is against Corsica ahead of their African Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifier against South Africa next month.
The Togolese Federation has now come out to announce via their twitter account that they will face the Eagles on June 1, in Paris, in what is expected to be Nigeria’s second match while in France.
“Hawks will meet in France, Nigeria, in a friendly match on June 1 in Paris,” the tweet by the Togolese Football Federation account literally said.
The Super Eagles will first play Corsica on the 24th of May, before moving to Paris where they’d face the Hawks as part of preparation to get the team handled by German, Gernot Rohr ready for the AFCON qualifier on June 10 against South Africa.
