Alexander Zverev Displaces Marin Cilic, Takes Over 3rd Position

Following the ATP Rankings, from the just concluded French Open in Monte Carlo, Rafael Nadal has been able to maintain his world number one position but other notable shifting, placements and displacements have occurred in the previous week with Alexander Zverev of Germany moving into a spot into the third position.

Nadal beat Japan’s Kei Nishkori in the finals. Nishkori successfully jumped 14 spots to become world  number 14.

Germany’s Alexander zverev progressed by a step into the third position after displacing Marin Cilic in the Monte Carlo masters semi-finals. This is confirmed following the latest ATP Rankings published on Monday.
