Speaking in support of the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Anambra state, the former Governor of Abia state, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu has categorically stated that if Anambra state is governed by APC, the state would get more projects from the APC-led Federal Government.

Dr. Kalu showed his support to the APC Candidate, Dr. Tony Nwoye in the fourth coming Anambra state gubernatorial election, by making a trip to the state, today.

The Ex-Governor allegedly said that South-East states had been turned down by the previous Administration.

He said: “The forthcoming election in Anambra State will be a good opportunity for Ndi Anambra to join mainstream politics.
If Anambra State is governed by the APC, more federal projects will be attracted to the state.
The South East had been marginalized by previous governments and the time is now to support President Buhari’s determination to uplift Ndigbo,” Kalu said.

The election had been scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hold on Nov 18, 2017.

Last week, a debate was organized by Channels TV for the 5-leading Governorship aspirants in the state.

People in the debate includes; the incumbent Governor, Willie Obiano of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Godwin Ezeemo of Progressives People’s Alliance (PPA), Oseloka Obaze of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Osita Chidoka of United Progressives Party (UPP) and Tony Nwoye of All Progressives Congress (APC).
