All you need to know about the tasty Okwo-oso prepared with assorted

It is one of a kind of delicacy that is specially prepared. It is not tied to any tribe, meaning that, it can be prepared by any tribe; it’s only a matter of choice. It tastes so nice that you will long for more after each consumption.

The first time I tasted this okwo-oso delicacy, it was a wow because it taste so nice and inviting and I didn’t hesitate to learn the preparation so that I can always have it anytime I feel  like eating it.

The preparation though simple, but has a lot to do with techniques.

Ingredients:

-Onions, Fresh/Ghana pepper, Crayfish and Palm oil

Potash, Assorted (intestine, shaki, kpomo, cowleg, liver)

Scent leaf, Magi and Pinch of salt to taste.

Preparation

Boil the assorted till they get soft

Blend or pound the Pepper and crayfish

Slice the scent leaves and chop the onion/onions

Get a bowl and pour a little water and melt some potash in it.

Add palm oil to form a paste

Then add the boiled assorted, the blended pepper and crayfish, chopped onions and stir very well.

Also, add the sliced scent leaf, Magi cube and pinch of salt.

Steam so it can be a hot, then taste for salt.

Oh yeah! Okwo-oso is ready.
