Gabon and Borussia Dortmund striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be spending next season at the Signal Iduna Park, according to latest reports from Germany.
Dortmund held talks with Serie A side, AC Milan over the potential transfer of Aubameyang, who is reportedly a target for English Premier League champions, Chelsea.
However, Dortmund are said to not be interested in listening to offers for the Gabon International, according to Sky Germany.
Despite initial reports that the Bundesliga outfit will listen to offers in the region of £65million for the 28 year-old, Aubameyang looks set to stay at Dortmund.
Speaking on the rumours linking Aubameyang with a move away, Sporting Director at Dortmund, Michael Zorc said the club’s done with transfers for the summer.
“As far as we’re concerned, the transfer window is shut,” Zorc told journalists, moments after BVB’s 1-3 defeat of AC Milan in a preseason friendly match.
“Time’s up!” he added.
Aubameyang, who has never hidden his preference for the La Liga in the last, remains contracted to BVB until the summer of 2020.
He scored over thirty goals in all competitions for Dortmund last season.
