Robert Lewandoski has debunked the rumours and claims that he is about leaving his current club Bayern Munich for Spanish Club Real Madrid.
The Polish striker, who has made 36 appearances and have scored an astonishing 32 goals in 36 games for Bayern this season, has been categorized and recognized in the world as one of the best center forwards.
With this reputation comes the inevitable speculation linking him with an even bigger club than the one he is currently with, leaving aside the fact that Munich is one of the biggest sides in Europe.
He says he’s not even giving rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid a second thought.
Here’s what the Bayern Munich star said:
“If I were to think about the Real speculation as a Bayern player, it wouldn’t be good for me because it would mean I wasn’t focused on my job here,” Lewandowski told Kicker.
“I’m a Bayern player and want to give everything for them. That comes first for me.”
He obviously through his afore mentioned statements, has no immediate plans to switch sides with another club or play for any other until his contract with his current side elapses.
