Following the recent loss of the last game against Manchester United, Chelsea cannot afford to lose another match as they have already been knocked out of the top four for the first time since the eight game of the season.
Presently, Chelsea is left with zero margin for error if they really want to make it back to the champions league next season. The Sunday’s loss has placed Chelsea directly behind Tottenham Hotspur, leaving them two points below Spurs and four points behind Liverpool FC.
The major concern now is the next match that has been between Chelsea FC and Manchester City which has been scheduled to hold on the 3rd of April, 2018 at Manchester City home. We can safely and speculate intuitively that this will head at a zero pointer as well for Chelsea, leaving them at a deficit of five points to Tottenham Hotspurs.
Unlike last season, Chelsea is yet to show the consistency and vigour (that led them to victory in the last season) required to go on a winning streak this time around.
