Fruit salad are combination of several kinds of fruits that is served as a desert or appetiser depending how you want it. It can also be called fruit cup or cock tail. It always appears inviting and beautiful whenever it is prepared because of the various fruits it is made from.

They are rich in Vitamins and also contain different kinds of minerals because of the varieties of fruits involve and they have their own specific Vitamins.  It helps in building up the body whenever it is lacking Vitamins. Instead of going for supplements, it is better to go on natural fruits.

The natural fruits that are used include;

Pineapple– it gives Vitamin C and Manganese, also it is a good source of Vitamin B1, B6 and dietary fibre.

 Pawpaw- is a good source of Vitamin C

 Banana -It contains B6 and B12 I large quantity, then, magnesium, potassium, few quantity of fibre and protein.

Watermelons – are mostly water; it contains citrulline and amino acid, plus Vitamin B6, A, C, magnesium and also potassium.

Apple: it contains Vitamin C and gives the cell protection.

Blueberries– it is rich in Vitamin A and E, Beta-Carotene, Copper, manganese, etc.

Note: You can still choose to add other fruits depending on the kind of fruit you want.

Preparation;

Get a bowl, peel all these fruits except blueberries, and cut into pieces, refrigerate and eat either as appetiser, desert or anytime you want. It should not exceed 2 days, because the fruits are meant to be eaten fresh. It is healthy and easy to prepare also builds and replaces the necessary Vitamins the body requires. You can still add yogurt to it, it is optional.
