From the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) news this morning, UK-based monitoring group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) and Syria Civil Defence White Helmets have disclosed that over 100 people were reported dead in bombing by Syrian Forces, that took place in Eastern Ghouta, on Monday.
The news made known that the Syrian Government Forces reportedly killed about 100 people including children during a strike in a region outside Damascus.
It was recalled that the area was Held by rebels since 2012 and that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad dispatched reinforcements to retake it.

A Doctor in the area said: “We are standing before the massacre of the 21st century, if the massacre of the 1990s was Srebrenica, and the massacres of the 1980s were Halabja and Sabra and Shatila, then eastern Ghouta is the massacre of this century right now.”
A security officer in the area also spoke about the incident. He said; “The bombing was hysterical. It is a humanitarian catastrophe in every sense of the word, the mass killing of people who do not have the most basic tenets of life.”
The United Nations (UN) had condemned the rebellious act, declaring that such calamity must be stopped.
