Manchester United is very much interested in taking Arsenal’s two major contract rebels Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, according to reports.

Manchester United has been reportedly eyeing Ozil in a free transfer at the end of the season.

Jose Mourinho was shy about the rumors when asked about Manchester United’s interest ahead of today’s clash with the Gunners.

“No comment,” he said.

“Ozil is unique. There is no copy of him – not even a bad one.

“He is the best No 10 in the world. He made things very easy for me and for his team-mates with his football vision and decisions he made.”

The Ozil link has been rumbled on for weeks and Arsenal seem no closer to locking the Germany international into a new contract.

But the Telegraph claim Sanchez is also on United’s sensor.

This is another trouble for Arsenal, who would not want to lose another star player to the Manchester United’s after Robin van Persie was controversially sold to the club in 2012.

Manchester United are aware already that Sanchez will be available immediately his contract expires but the report claims they have accepted that City remain favorites for his signature.

A £60million move to City broke down on transfer deadline day because Arsenal couldn’t secure a replacement in Thomas Lemar.

It meant Sanchez’s expected departure was delayed for 12 months.

Both Sanchez and Ozil are expected to line up for Arsenal in a crunch clash with United today (5.30pm).

The Gunners sit four points off second-place United, who are a further eight points behind league leaders City.

City host West Ham on Sunday (4pm).
