Liverpool’s Star Jon Flanagan sentenced for assaulting girlfriend

Jon Flanagan just earned himself a fine, sentence and community order of twelve months of 40 hours of unpaid work for assaulting his girlfriend.

Prior to this time, Liverpool Magistrates’ court learned that he kicked his girlfriend in an attack in Duke Street in Liverpool city centre on the 22nd of December, 2017.

The case was previously adjourned on the premise of the preparation of a pre-sentence report and the accused granted unconditional bail after the hearing on the 2nd of January, 2018.

The 25-year-old star pleaded guilty at the court earlier this month to common assault via the beating of his partner, Rachael Wall.

“You are of course, a man of previous good character and therefore it is undoubtedly sad that you have brought yourself here by your behavior” said Judge Wendy of the Liverpool Magistrates’ court.

He was finally sentenced on Wednesday by District Judge Wendy Lloyd to a 12-month community order which entailed 15 rehabilitation activity days, 40 hours of unpaid work, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
