As the trainings and preparations for the 2018 Davis Cup tournament get intense on every side and National teams are tightening their bolts and fastening their seatbelts with an even more increased energy and dedication, Rafael Nadal and teammates took sometime out to visit children in a clinic in Valencia.
For the Spanish team, it has undeniably been a really busy week as training began on Monday. The players had their first training sessions at the Plaza de Toros. After this, they were interviewed as well. After their training session on Tuesday, the team of three visited the Clinic GVC in Valencia and took a tour through the pediatric section of the clinic.
On getting to the children ward, the children’s excitement was immeasurable seeing the kind of guests they had in their midst. The hospital thanked the trio via twitter, wishing them luck for their match against Germany in the quarter-finals tie.
The trio who visited the clinic were Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer and the team’s captain Sergi Bruguera.
With the training put in place, it is most likely that Nadal may play his first match since after his loss to Marin Cilic in the Astralian Open quarter-finals and his hip injury break.
