Following the United Nations Security Council sanctions against North Korea. Over its nuclear program and other Economic operations in the state. Pyongyang has declare to commence “thousands-fold” retaliations against the US.
In a statement released by the Official Korean Central News Agency. Pyongyang has said that the sanctions were a “heinous US plot to isolate and stifle” North Korea. Adding that the Country would not be compelled to stop its nuclear programs.
The statement reads: “We will not put our self-defensive nuclear deterrent on the negotiating table. And will never take a single step back from strengthening our nuclear might.
If the US… believes that it would remain safe because its mainland is an ocean away from us, nothing would be a bigger misjudgment than that.”
Also, the statement states that the UN sanctions were “violation of sovereignty”. Fabricated by the US and that Pyongyang would respond with an “action of justice”.
Report disclosed that at a meeting in the Philippine capital Manila, China’s Wang Yi told North Korea’s Ri Yong-ho that the UN-agreed measures were “necessary, but not the end-goal”, and that the aim was to bring Pyongyang back to the table for talks.
The Economic sanctions includes: Bans on the export of coal, iron and iron ore, lead and lead ore, fish and seafood from the state
