Oh No! Social Media On Fire Over PMB’s Promise To Ghana

Reactions are all over the social media concerning the promise made by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari to help Ghana in its fight against Corruption, during his visit to the West African country on her 61st Independence Anniversary celebrations.

Making his speech at the event, President Buhari reportedly commended Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo with the parliament for passing the Special Prosecutor Bill to fight endemic corruption in the county. The Nigerian President went further as He pledged to support Ghana in the anti-graft war.

He said; “… Your Excellency, I can assure you that you have a good partner in me in tackling endemic corruption.”

However, Buhari’s promise has raised series of reactions from some Ghanaian citizens. They frown at the comment in the aspect that Nigeria was recently ranked 148th most corrupt country in the world.

From their reactions, they challenged the Nigerian President to go and fight the mysterious snake reportedly made away with N36m from the office of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in Nigeria last month.
