Rafael Nadal is anticipated to return from his injury-based break to feature in the spain’s David cup quarter-final against Germany on outdoor clay in a bull ring in Valencia from the 6th-8th of next month.
Spain’s captain Sergi Bruguera has scheduled the tennis star to play alongside Roberto Bautista Agut, Pablo Carreno Busta, Feliciano Lopez and David Ferrer for the Spanish team in the Davis Cup but however, said that his recovery will determine the final decision as to whether he plays or not.
“He is getting better and about to finish his recovery, training well and in better shape,” Bruguera said Tuesday after announcing his team.
“We still have a week and a half to go before the series and we hope that he will be better.” He continued.

Nadal has not played any match since January after his injury forced him to retire after his defeat during his Australian Open quarter-final against Marin Cilic and has not played in the Davis cup since September 2016, but the 31-year-old is set to return to action as the world No 1, after Roger Federer’s second-round loss to Thanasi Kokkinakis in Miami.
Bruguera further said that he will not going to confirm just anything about any player yet until Thursday when he is tentative enough about them.
“I am not going to confirm anything about any player. I won’t decide my team until Thursday.” Said Bruguera.
