It’s been a remarkable season for AS Roma as they are third in Serie A, ahead of city rivals Lazio on goal difference and have also advanced to the Champions League semifinals, after they dumped Barcelona out in the last round.
In an amazing stat considering they’ve faced Barca, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, Roma have yet to concede a home goal in this season’s Champions League.
Roma face Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday, and on Monday’s the Italian’s have confirmed a major deal.

Liverpool vs Roma: Champions League semi-final preview
Liverpool host Roma at Anfield on Tuesday night for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.
Roma pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in European football history in the previous round to qualify for the last four. Having lost 4-1 in Barcelona in their quarter-final first leg, Roma won the second leg 3-0 and progressed on away goals after the tie finished 4-4 on aggregate.
Roma have already faced English opposition twice this season, en route to topping Group C. Roma drew 3-3 at Chelsea before beating the Blues 3-0 in the reverse fixture.

Liverpool knocked out Premier League champions Manchester City in the previous round with a 5-1 aggregate win. The Reds followed up their 3-0 home win with a 2-1 win in Manchester in the second leg.
Jurgen Klopp’s side squandered a 2-goal lead against bottom side West Brom, conceding twice in the final 11 minutes to draw 2-2. Despite the draw, Liverpool are almost certain to finish in the top four this season.
