The South Korean Spokesman for the Presidential office, Kim Eui-kyeom disclosed to Newsmen the new bill signed by the President on Monday.
President Moon Jae-In signed a bill on the amendment of the country’s constitution, that permits the re-election of the head of state.
Kim noted further that the bill was still in process to be approved by the country’s parliament. According to him; “If the bill is approved by the country’s parliament, it will be voted on in a national referendum during local elections set for June 13. ’’
Speaking with newsmen in Abu Dhabi, Kim explained that the bill was signed electronically.
