’Muhammadu Buhari and his agents must concern themselves with salvaging their badly wounded and battered image rather than concocting lies to divert attention’’
The Deputy Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Uche Okafor Mefor has disclaimed the alleged imported weapons by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB for the purpose of destabilizing Nigeria.
Uche Mefor who said this in a statement released officially said that president Muhammadu Buhari and the DSS should concentrate of salvaging Nigeria’s badly wounded and battered image rather than concocting lies just to divert attention.
‘’Muhammadu Buhari and his handlers through the instrumentality of the most treacherous, illegal, criminal, brigand security outfit called the DSS are as expected in their continued and constant panic mood. They are caught red-handed as they have once again lost it and shot themselves directly by arranging the consignment of selected cache of weaponry they imported from Turkey and in a bid to divert attention falsely claimed that Nnamdi Kanu imported them with the intention to destabilize the contraption called Nigeria.
‘’We once again make bold to say that we don’t need to import such, and it is needless as it runs counter to our publicly avowed pronouncements of total commitment to the ultimate restoration of the sovereignty of Biafra through a sustained non-violent approach. This is more so when the ‘Truth’ we have is more sophisticated than all the military hardware at their disposal.
‘’The handlers of the zoo called Nigeria must be reminded that they are incapable of setting any agenda for us. They must concern themselves with restoring their badly wounded and battered image. We challenge them to stop playing games with themselves and publicly provide incontrovertible evidence implicating IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu in the mess they created so that we shall puncture and expose them or they simply shut up forever.
The deputy leader, Uche calls for the release of IPOB members in detention.
‘’They must stop this childish, amateurish attempt at sophistry aimed at confusing the gullible public and produce our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu whom they have been holding hostage. They must release all innocent and defenceless IPOB family members in their custody. Need we restate, once again, at this juncture that the contraption called Nigeria will never know peace until Biafra is restored!
‘’Brethren, we must focus on the big picture, let us continue to emphasize, re-emphasize and apply ourselves more than ever before to the boycott all elections in Biafraland starting with Anambra and sit-at-home on 18th November 2017. The collective aspirations and will of the Biafran people can never be muzzled nor suffocated by any form of intimidation, blackmail or brute force. Biafra Restoration is not negotiable and our commitment to this cause remains unassailable.”
