Super Eagles assistant manager, Salisu Yusuf, has lost his mother, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has announced.
The NFF confirmed this much through a statement released via the official social media account of the National football team, the Super Eagles.
“We regret to announce that our chief coach, Salisu Yusuf lost his mother, Hajia Binta Yusuf, earlier today, (Thursday). She was aged 88,” the NFF posted.
The 55-year-old Yusuf is currently preparing for the 2018 African Nations Championship, tagged CHAN, qualifiers, kicking off in August.
