Taiwan’s Premier, Lin resigns to boost Public support for President Tsai

Lin Chuan, Prime Minister of Taiwan has quits his office today Monday, September 4, 2017, to be replaced by Mayor of Southern city of Tainan, William Lai Ching-te.

Report states that Lin submitted his resignation to President Tsai Ing-wen, President of the Republic of China, yesterday Sunday. Says his aim is to enhance public support for Tsai’s Government.
