Ciara Keenan, a bride who fell ill on her wedding day after an exchange of vows with her charming groom, John Cowanis later  came back strong on her feet. She also, was able to hold her wedding reception through the assistance well wishers fundraising campaign.

This incident on their church ceremony happened at Cookstown, Northern Ireland. She vomited blood all over groom and was quickly taken to the hospital It was strange but from the test carried out it was found that she has stomach ulcer which made her to spend 3 days in the hospital before she was discharged. Though she later went for honey moon at Seychelle. And this was made possible by making her to skip her wedding reception.

According to the bride; she wrote;

“This darling couple deserves the reception of their dreams,” she wrote. “We are starting this campaign to give Ciara and John another chance to enjoy their wedding day!”

After one week of her discharge, the raised money was beyond £1,000, which enabled them to hold a second celebration at The Ivory restaurant in Belfast? There were contributions; Owners provided the venue for free, while a photographer and videographer also did not charge any fee.

According to what she told the Belfast Telegraph ahead of the gathering; it has been incredible how generous so many people have been to us. She still went ahead to say that it had helped us to be able to enjoy the wedding reception we missed out on because I was ill.

She continued, It had raised the money to cover the food and drink, so thanks to the kindness of so many people we were able to join our guests for the wedding party we missed out on last time.

Still on medication she said; I will be on medication for the rest of my life, But that’s a small price to pay when you consider how much worse things could have been, especially if it had happened when we were out in the Seychelles on honeymoon.

Despite her sad statement, i the writer believe that someday, she will completely recover from this stomach ulcer.
