Christian Huygen invented the first watch in 1675, his invention is known as a balance spring. The invention formed the basis of all mechanical watches from different manufacturers around the world. From 1675 to the modern day, Surely, other manufacturers have made different changes but the major principle behind all watches has remains the same; still using the balance spring principle.

Swiss watchmaker made a new invention that is totally different from what Christian Huygen did in 1675. He came up with a different mechanism from the one Huygens invented.

It is gathered that the oscillator uses compression; which means that parts of the oscillator are stretched and squeezed in very precise amounts to keep them.

The Zenith oscillator recent invention from Swiss watchmaker promises to be more accurate in time keeping and long lasting with less maintenance.
