Alexis Sanchez has refused to commit his future to Arsenal, after confirming that he knows where he’ll be playing next season, during an interaction with the media in Russia.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Sunday’s encounter against world champions, Germany, the Chilean star says while he has a clear idea where his future lies, all that has to wait for now, as he’s only focused on the Confederations Cup.
“Right now, I am focused on the Confederations Cup,” Sanchez said. “When this is finished, I will see if I stay or if I go. I don’t know.
“It’s clear, but I can’t tell you anything,” the 28-year-old added.
Sanchez, who was in superb form for Arsenal last season, scoring over 25goals to help the Gunners win a record 13th FA cup title, has a year left on his Arsenal contract.
Nevertheless, Arsenal have offered the former Barcelona winger a new deal, according to reports, but he continues to be linked with a move away from the Emirates stadium, with London rivals, Chelsea and Ligue 1 side, PSG, said to be likely destinations.
