Mole National Park is Ghana’s largest wildlife refuge. The park is located in northwest Ghana on grassland savanna and riparian ecosystems at an elevation of 150 m, with sharp escarpment forming the southern boundary of the park. The park features the large, mostly people friendly Savannah elephant, along with antelopes like kob, waterbuck, roan, hartebeest and others. Lots of colorful birds especially liked the red bee-eater. Friendly and knowledgeable park staff give guided tours, walking, jeep, or at night.
