Frankfurt sign Serbian star Luka Jovic on a two-year loan deal

Bundesliga outfit, Eintracht Frankfurt, have completed the signing of Serbian rising star, Luka Jovic, the German side confirmed.

The youngster will join the club from Portuguese champions, SL Benfica, after putting pen to paper for a two year loan deal, with an option for Die Adler to make it permanent.

“We’re delighted the loan has gone through and hope Luka acclimatizes as quickly as possible,” Fredi Bobic, the club’s sporting director, said.

The 19-year-old striker made just four senior appearances for Benfica, including on against German champions, Bayern Munich in the Champions League, joined the club in 2016 from Red Star Belgrade, his boyhood team.

“I’m excited and incredibly grateful to Frankfurt for enabling me to make this step,” Jovic said.
