The former President of Court of Appeal, Mustapha Akanbi, has reportedly died at the age of 85 years. Mr. Akanbi died on Sunday morning 3rd June 2018, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
A source told PREMIUM TIMES that the former chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) died around 1 a.m. Surge Zirc gathered that the former chair person of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) died in the early hours of the morning.
Kabir Akanbi, who is the son of the former chairman now late also confirmed the death to newsmen. Being an Islamic person requires that he be buried in the later hours of same day that he died.
Brief history of late Mr. Akanbi:
He was born in September 1932, and was called to the English Bar in 1963, after which He was called to the Nigerian Bar of association in January 1964 and later joined the Ministry of Justice where he became a Senior State Counsel in1968.
