Serbian tennis star, Novak Djokovic, defeated Daniil Medvedev 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the final at Eastbourne, a Wimbledon warm-up event.
The world number four is yet to drop a set at the competition, and against Medvedev, that looked hardly under threat.
After saving three break points, with the first set evenly poised at 4-4, Djokovic finally broke Medvedev, and held his serve to take a one set lead.
In the second, the top seed started with another break and Medvedev never recovered, breaking the youngster in the ninth game, before serving his way to victory in one hour and 22 minutes.
It’s the 30-year-old’s first time competing in the Eastbourne International event, and he will now face the winner of the second semi-final between Richard Gasquet and Gael Monfils.
