Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata has been queued up by Juventus as one of the players to be signed in the summer Transfer windows. According to reports in Italy, The club is saving big for the transfer move.
The 25-year-old striker was with the club for two years before Real Madrid re-bought the player in June, 2016. He was sold out only recently from Real Madrid at 60million to Chelsea in the summer transfer.
Morata has had a mixed first season at Stamford Bridge since the season. He performed well from his debut in the Premier League and only managed to make just two goals in all competitions since December 26, taking his tally to 14 goals in 41 outings in total.
The Serie A champions are planning an offer to get Morata from ‘The Blues’ but his worth in his current contract will seemingly pose a threat to the club as his current wages supersedes all of the other Juventus players. This may be the only challenge to getting him back.
Chelsea on the other hand have been linked with a number of other strikers with big changes at the club expected in the summer when current manager Antonio Conte is expected to leave the club which according to Corriere dello sport, is the reason behind Juventus trying to lure Morata back to Turin by taking advantage of the whole situation in Chelsea.
