Former Nollywood child actor and now grown comic skit actor and producer ‘Williams Uchemba’ grabs an award in the category of the ‘Africa Developement Impact Award’ in the US. Williams who’s currently based in United State of America revealed that award could stir up excitement in others, but it scares him, because he sees it as a wakeup call to do better than he was doing.

This takes mind back to what business mogul ‘Aliko Dangote’ said when he was announced the richest black man in the world. He also said he sees it as a wakeup call to work even harder to keep the flag flying.

However, we are glad Williams made Nigerians proud. And then he has dedicated the award to struggling youths in the world, especially Nigerians.

Williams Uchemba ”Am really humbled to be recognized and awarded at the World Trade Center Ronald Reagan building for the Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit in the category of the AFRICA DEVELOPMENT IMPACT AWARD.

”The truth is Awards scare me because while others see it as a symbolism for a job well done, I see it as mantle to do better and go higher than the level you are at the moment. I dedicate this award to all the struggling Youths, men and women all over the world especially Nigeria.

”To all the homeless and hungry people that are almost giving up on in life, I want you to know that my heart is always with you and a big thank you to the founder and CEO, of ATIGS Mr Bako. Ambianda.

Congratulations Williams.
